Comments: The first XR wagon adopted the XR quad headlights and is based largely on the running gear already proven in the XR6 Sedan.

Comments: The first of the XR utes, the XG XR6 was launched together with the ED range and adopted the signature quad headlight front. However this assembly was unique to the ute as it was a 3 piece design with separate grille and headlight surrounds as opposed to the sedan and wagon 1 piece design.
